HP Chromebook 14 Now Selling at Walmart for $349

The Chromebook release march continues with a brand new HP Chromebook 14 model on sale for $349. Judging by the Walmart website on October 23, sales are through the roof as it is listed as “out of stock online.”

When the new stock arrives, the 14-inch, 4.07 pound, 4G laptop comes in the choice of Snow White, Peach Choral or Turquoise with a 1.4GHz dual-core Intel Celeron 2955U processor, 4GB of RAM, 16GB solid-state drive, 802.11a/b/g/n Wireless LAN connectivity, Intel HD Graphics and HDMI capabilities.

Additional features include: HP TrueVision HD webcam, SD memory card reader, USB 2.0 port, 2 USB 3.0 ports, HDMI port, and a 4-cell lithium-ion battery, which should deliver 9.5 hours on a full charge.

Yes, there are some free goodies thrown in such as 100GB of cloud-based Google Drive storage for two years, 12 free sessions of GoGo Inflight Internet service and a 60-day subscription to Google Play Music All Access.

And for those who are set on a WiFi model, you’ll have to wait a couple of weeks, and you’ll only have 2GB of RAM to work with for the $299 asking price.
