LTE Chromebook Pixel Model to Ship on April 8

Google-Chromebook-Pixel-touchGoogle’s Chromebook Pixel with the much-ballyhooed 2560×1700, 12.9-inch, touch-enabled LCD display is now LTE-enabled.

For an additional $150, or $1,449 all in, the premium 4G Chromebook Pixel is ready to ship on April 8, according to an update on Google Play.

What’s in the box for the extra cash?

Besides the LTE hardware, an additional 100 MB of mobile data through Verizon is available every month for two years. Also, the storage capacity is 64 GB in the LTE Pixel, which is double that of the WiFi model.

However, both Chromebook Pixel models have access to 1 terabyte of Google Drive storage for three years from the purchase date.
