Google Partners with Tech Solutions Leader CDW to Increase Chromebook Adoption

CDW-Cloud-Collaboration_CDW, a Fortune 500 technology solutions provider, recently partnered with Google to provide complete Chromebook offerings and support to its customers in the private and public sectors.

CDW said it will offer the Chrome OS driven laptops with full, cloud-based management and a Web-based management console to help deliver network, integration and configuration services. Businesses who choose to deploy Chromebook solutions will benefit from network assessments and wireless configuration to ensure bandwidth and delivery speeds are met and employees will be guided to master the skills required to use Chromebooks efficiently.

Andrea Bradshaw, CDW senior director and general manager, mobility solutions, adds: “The organizational benefits of the Chromebook solution are twofold: Ease of use for the end user and peace of mind for management. Users can collaborate and connect to the resources they need in the cloud, wherever they are. Organizations can deploy and scale quickly with very little management overhead – and sleep better at night knowing that security protections and protocols are in place.”

CDW employs more than 6,900 and serves clients in the corporate, government, education and healthcare sectors. For fiscal 2012, CDW (www.CDW.com) generated net sales of more than $10 billion.
