The Number One spot on Amazon’s list of Best Sellers in Laptop Computers (at time of writing) belongs to the new $249 Samsung Chromebook, WiFi version.
Obviously the lower price has plenty of consumer appeal, and why wouldn’t it? For $249, the 11.6 inch model features a 1366 x 768 pixel display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and a Samsung Exynos 5 ARM Cortex-A15 processor.
The slightly more expensive 3G model at $330 is currently ranked in the Number Three spot.
Both models are still only available for pre-order on Amazon, with no firm shipping dates assigned as yet. However, orders from the Google Play store are being shipped with expected delivery in 3-5 days.
