What are they saying about the new Samsung Chromebooks?
Have you made your mind up on whether to purchase the new Samsung Chromebook?
The Series 5 550 has its fair share of critics but there are others that have found the new laptop quite appealing.

“The bottom line: Despite solid hardware and a slightly improved Chrome OS, the Samsung Chromebook Series 5 550 comes with far too many caveats and compromises compared with similarly priced but more-capable tablets and laptops.”
~Scott Stein, CNET

“Over all, the new version of the Chromebook improves on its predecessor, and will be even better with the offline functionality. But “better than it was” isn’t the same as “a compelling experience.”
~Rich Jarslovsky, Bloomberg News

“Since the operating system is so light and the Chromebook runs on a 16GB SSD, boot and resume times are absolutely insane. The Chromebook goes from completely off to connected to Wi-Fi in about six seconds (plus the time it takes to enter your Google password), and will resume from sleep in two seconds flat.”

“What the Chromebook is though, is a single-minded device that does its task with aplomb. If you want a cloud-based laptop, which keeps your data safe and sound, then there Chromebook will appeal.”

“I’d recommend the Chromebook for light users who doesn’t want to buy a more expensive computer. If you want to try to live your life mostly on the Web but you also want your keyboard and that familiar feel of a laptop, this could be a good fit for you.”
