The Chromebox has once again appeared on the radar screen and the good news is that the price may be getting a significant cut from the $400 we reported back in January.
The folks at Engadget received a tip that it was being displayed on TigerDirect.com for $330.
Powered by a 1.9GHz, dual-core Intel Celeron B840 and sporting 4GB of DDR3 memory, a 16GB solid-state drive and six USB ports, the new Samsung Chromebox just might be hitting store shelves in the coming weeks.
While we’d like to see a wireless mouse and keyboard included in the package, no official word has been provided.
There are several other Chromebox features to share, including a 11.6″ diagonal screen, SD card reader, headphone port, microphone, HDMI, Wireless 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth, of course.
